Sarah Prendergast

Sarah lives in Molesey with her husband William, daughter Elizabeth and their two cats, Norman and Diggory. Sarah joined St Mary’s in November 2015, after moving across the river from Hampton. As a teenager, she has been involved in children’s ministry and after completing her degree in music and philosophy at Oxford Brookes University, Sarah felt called to train as a Religious Studies secondary school teacher. Sarah is passionate about working with young people and enjoys finding creative ways to bring scripture to life, and enabling young people to discuss and grow their faith.
Sarah is currently taking a break from the classroom, to complete a PhD on the role of women’s ministry during the 1904 Welsh Revival and to focus on family life. She is excited to be part of the staff team at St Mary’s and is eager to develop the children’s work here in Molesey.
