Youth Mentoring Programme

Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.

1 Corinthians 11:1

Are you in school years 7 to 13? Do you feel stuck? Not really sure who you really are or what you’re meant to be doing? Have you got choices to make and not sure which path to take? Do you feel like you’re made for something more?

Then it sounds like regular one-to-one or small group mentoring sessions might be for you. Here’s the low down on how it works….

Why:

We are passionate about helping young people discover who God made them to be, realise their calling, and find ways to make a difference in their home, school and community.

Who:

You would be matched up with one of our wonderful PAIS team who are all DBS checked and trained youth and schools workers.

What:

Mentoring provides you with a safe space to talk about absolutely anything – stuff you’re struggling with or areas you want to grow in. Any advice we give will be based on Biblical principles, but we won’t make you sit down and listen to us drone on and on. It’ll be fun and they’ll be plenty of opportunities to do stuff as well as chat.

Where:

Mentoring always takes place in public – most probably a coffee shop. Being out and about gives us an opportunity to apply what we’re chatting about to real-life situations.

When:

Mentoring sessions take place after school/college, no later than 8pm, and last about an hour. We will agree with you how often we meet up – weekly or fortnightly.
