Our Values

Encounter God

At St Peter’s we seek to encounter God in everything we do. Whether that’s during Sunday services, Prayer on the Streets or just hanging out as friends, our relationship with God is at the centre of who we are.

Build Community

Building community is something we’re passionate about at St Peter’s. Whether it’s coming together as a church family or being an active part of our local community, it’s really important for us to create community in whatever we do.

Welcome the Broken

At St Peter’s we want to support our local community and in particular to help people who are going through difficult times. That’s why we set up Molesey Churches Night Shelter and help run East Elmbridge Foodbank. Jesus didn’t just hang out with people who had it all together. He was friends with people who were struggling and he helped them.

Value the Individual

We value everyone as unique individuals. You don’t need to look or act in a certain way to come to our services or join in with our events - everyone is welcome! We believe that God loves us exactly as we are and we think you’re great, just as you are!

Support

We believe that everyone has God-given gifts and talents. Sometimes we don’t know how to make best use of these abilities. We want to support people in reaching their potential, whether that’s at work, at school, with their families or at church.

‘The more tuned in you are to your purpose, and the more dedicated you are to growing toward it, the better your chances of reaching your potential, expanding your possibilities, and doing something significant.’

John Maxwell

Have Fun!

At St Peter’s we love to have fun! Life is serious enough already, so we prioritise joy and fun in what we do. God gave us senses of humour and the desire to enjoy life. Worship doesn’t have to be boring! Just check out our services - in person or online, Morning Worship for Everyone, or come along to one of our events to see us having fun in our worship and as a church community.
